The aquaculture working group is hosting an online event on June 20th, 2023 from 10:00-12:00 (CEST). The session will evolve around aquaponics, a food production method that combines aquaculture and hydroponics. Aquaponics makes use of symbiotic ecosystems combining fish culture and crop farming to produce high-quality and fresh protein and greens. The nutrient cycle, the potential of aquaponic facilities, systems design, and common challenges, among many other topics will be covered.
