The Native Oyster Restoration Alliance, the European network for the restoration of the native oyster Ostrea edulis, announces its 5th conference. We are very glad that NORA 5 will take place as an in-person-conference in The Netherlands.

Within the spirit of the active NORA community, the conference will provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint collaboration and discussions. The programme will include some pre-conference activities, e.g. a PhD/student workshop to take place on the morning of 6th November and maybe also some working group meetings. 

The conference will conclude on the afternoon of 8th November with an excursion to the shellfish centers nearby.

Registration and the request for contributions will be open soon – please check the website regularly or subscribe for the NORA newsletter to be aware of ongoing activities.

This year, there will be a modest conference fee. Besides, participants must cover their own expenses, e.g. for hotel accommodation, most meals and travel. Hotel and travel options will be provided soon. A shuttle service from the train station to the venue will also be organized.
