Willing to be available to startups, companies and other research institutions to exchange knowledge and expertise in the field of microalgal biotechnology and interested in new partners for joint and innovative research projects.The Gesellschaft zur Förderung von Medizin-, Bio- und Umwelttechnologien e.V. (GMBU e.V.) is a non-profit research organisation with about 50 employees that work distributed in the three main subject divisions in Halle (Saale), Jena and Dresden in Germany. We are mainly working within research projects together with partners all around the world and are constantly looking for new research partners. In the last decades we worked within a lot of different projects and gained an enormous expertise within the complex subject area of microalgal biotechnology, especially in the fields of process optimization, process monitoring, downstream processing or investigation and application of algae-based products.
