Motivation to join Alliance as a mentor for Blue Growth
There is no value in knowledge if it is not shared. The usage of hard earned knowledge on behalf of others can bring back satisfaction and is a remarkably rewarding and fulfilling experience.
Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is located in the centre of Lithuania. Kaunas is attractive due to free economical zone and international airport. KTU group has experience in design, synthesis and investigation of biopolymers, biodegradable polymers, and biocomposites from renewable resources. KTU provides R&D&I services and rent of equipment (https://apcis.ktu.edu/en/site/index). During 5 years KTU group participated in 4 international and national projects and have 12 scientific publications in CAWoS database. Sigita Kasetaite is organised, motivated and communicative person. She got her doctoral degree in chemical engineering in 2018. Sigita is interested in blue biotechnology in the BSR due to sustainable development (sustainable use of natural aquatic resources such as mussels, seagrass, etc. into our bocomposites), provision of knowledge and cooperation between countries which would serve in blue growth.Market active/interested
